Our Mission

Israel-Palestine Peace

Working towards reconciliation and a just peace for all

The Jewish Peace Fellowship is committed to dialogue, understanding, and the peaceful resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. We believe in the power of nonviolence and in the possibility of a future where both peoples live in peace, security, and dignity.

Our principles

Three commitments guide how we approach this work. They are not a political program but a moral one — rooted in the conviction that the lives and dignity of all people in the region are sacred.

Nonviolence

We support peaceful approaches to conflict resolution and oppose all forms of violence.

Justice

We advocate for equal rights, dignity, and self-determination for all peoples in the region.

Dialogue

We promote understanding and cooperation between Israeli and Palestinian communities.

How we work

Our efforts take several forms, each meant to draw the two communities closer rather than further apart.

  • Peace education — supporting programs that bring Israeli and Palestinian youth together for dialogue and understanding.
  • Advocacy — promoting policies that support peaceful resolution and opposing actions that perpetuate the conflict.
  • Community building — creating spaces for dialogue and understanding between communities.

Partners in peace

We are grateful to walk alongside Israelis and Palestinians who have chosen the harder, braver path of reconciliation — among them former combatants who now work together for peace, and religious leaders who advocate for human rights and justice across every line of division. You can learn more about the organizations and people we stand with on our friends and partners page.

A future where both peoples live in peace, security, and dignity is not naive — it is the work to which we are called.
