Since our founding in 1941, the Jewish Peace Fellowship has stood as a beacon of nonviolent activism and conscientious objection within the Jewish community, guided by our commitment to peace and justice.

Our Journey Through the Decades

1941-1950: Our Founding

Established to support Jewish conscientious objectors during WWII, providing guidance and advocacy for those choosing nonviolent paths.

1950-1970: Civil Rights & Vietnam

Active participation in the Civil Rights Movement and support for conscientious objectors during the Vietnam War.

1970-Present: Modern Peace Work

Expanding our mission to address contemporary conflicts, nuclear disarmament, and promoting peaceful solutions in Israel-Palestine.
